Joe Budden denied rumors that Eminem is dissing him on the “Chloraseptic” remix on Wednesday’s (January 10) edition of The Joe Budden Podcast. In stark contrast to his decoding of supposed disses in Drake’s “4PM IN Calabasas,” Budden doesn’t hear any shots fired at him in Eminem’s song.
The conversation started with his co-hosts Rory and Mal saying, “I think everyone dissed Em, and now Bizarre’s mad at you.” Budden joked back, “I think Em is dissing y’all, Akademiks, Ice.” Shortly after the jokes fired, Budden adopted a more serious tone as he referred specifically to the newly released remix, which features 2 Chainz and PHresher.
“So here’s my question: why do people think he’s talking about me? Because I heard it finally.” Rory and Mal responded that he’s been “at the forefront” of a lot of conversations last year and impacting the culture.
Budden defended himself, saying, “I couldn’t have trashed the album I never heard. And I was the lone person defending the tracklist. So much so, that niggas said, ‘Uh, Joe, you dickridin’ man. You bias. You won’t say nun.’”
He also touched on his beef with D12 member Bizarre, adding, “I’m not starting 2018 beefing with fucking Bizarre on my second fucking podcast, let me be clear.”
The drama began when Eminem dropped the “Untouchable” single. Budden had some harsh words about Slim Shady’s song, calling it “trash.”
