PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ – More pieces to the puzzle have emerged in Juelz Santana’s recent airport incident. According to TMZ, the Dipset rapper fled Newark Liberty International Airport on Friday (March 9) for not only possessing a gun but also the powerful narcotic Oxycodone.
Law enforcement reportedly said Santana had eight Oxycodone pills in his baggage at the time of his arrest. Consequently, Santana, who turned himself in on Monday (March 12), has been formally charged with felony drug possession.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday (March 14).

Santana has been charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a weapon on an aircraft, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of drugs.
A police spokesman said the Dipset member, whose real name is LaRon James, went peacefully into police custody around 1 a.m. Eastern on Monday. Santana is scheduled to appear in a U.S. District Court in Newark, New Jersey on Monday afternoon.
